Adams Family Travels...or travails...

My poor sister is the carrier of the family correspondence...thought I'd pitch in a little news and some cool pics. Justin and I were in Madison for the Capital City Jazz Fest in April. It's hard to take pictures of ourselves performing and I spent the rest of the time chillin' in my room with a good book and hours of National Geographic on cable...this is a working vacation for a mother of three. Great gig. They loved us. Standing O's four out of our five sets. Justin and Lannie were in Yosemite playing for some resort destination the end of April. She won't go out at night without Just by her side. He makes her sound better...he makes all of us sound better. He wanted to see "the big trees." Ummm....who's really the ham in this picture?

Then, last weekend, it was off to Juneau, AK for another jazz festival and to teach an artists workshop. He hung out with the hippest old guy (Ron) and ate so much fresh sea food I'm sure I'll have a hard time getting his taste buds to accept anything from our local market.

No more traveling for us until this summer when we both might be heading down to Santa Fe for a gig. We're going to settle in and enjoy our new grass!!!
